Overview

Founded in August 2005, Amiown – The Caring Preschool, is a chain of preschools founded by the promoters of the renowned Amity Group. With branches in Delhi, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Noida, the preschool provides quality education with focus on overall development of students.

Campus

Amiown hosts spacious and well-ventilated classrooms designed by experts. There is a circulating library which allows children to lend the books at home. Teachers at Amiown are well-trained and psychologically bent to understand the needs of the child. The school also provides regular workshops for parents where they get opportunity to learn with and from each other.

Academics

he school offers education for toddlers, pre-nursery and nursery children. The latest addition to the preschool’s offerings is ‘Amitots’ – a program for toddlers between 18-24 months. The Amiown curriculum is designed to motivate a child towards spontaneous and joyful learning. The preschool follows Montessori Method as well as Reggio Emilia approach. Gross motor skills and fine motor skills are enhanced through activities like running, jumping, paper cutting, clay modeling, play dough, lacing, beading and folding and unfolding things. Children’s language skills are improved through phonetic and auditory games.

Extracurricular

Extracurricular activities include art & craft, music & movement, worksheet, swimming, dance & drama, role play, movies and field trips.

Admission

Amiown admits pre-nursery and nursery children. Age criterion for pre-nursery is 2 years and for nursery, it is 3 years. For the toddlers’ programme ‘Amitots’, the age of the child should be between 18-24 months. The application forms are only available online.
