Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology, Hyderabad, invites applications from candidates who are bonafide Indian citizens, to pursue research in modern biology leading to a Ph D degree in the following areas – cell biology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, developmental biology, nanobiology, plant molecular biology, protein structure and function, biology of macromolecules, biology of infection, epigenetics, chromatin biology, wildlife conservation and bioinformatics.
You need: Candidates with a Masters degree in any branch of science having a valid National level fellowship (JRF/SRF of various funding agencies, CSIR, UGC, DBT, ICMR etc.,) DST-INSPIRE or any other equivalent fellowship can only apply. Candidates with a Bachelors degree in engineering or pharmacy qualified in GATE/GPAT examination with a minimum of 85% may apply. Candidates with a Masters degree (MSc/ME/MTech/MPharm) qualified only in GATE/GPAT are not eligible to apply. However, these candidates can apply if they have a valid national level fellowship. Candidates with a Bachelors degree in medicine can also apply. Candidates qualified only for lectureship in CSIR-UGC (NET) examination need not apply.
