Overview

Aspee Nutan Academy is a co-educational school affiliated with Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE). In 1950, Shree Nutan Kelavani Mandal was founded by philanthropists with the purpose of creating educated minds as a contribution to society. With changing times requiring English as a medium of education, the Trust started the English medium school by the name of Shree Nutan Vidya Mandir in 1979. With the success of its Gujarati medium and English Medium state board schools, the trust had made a remarkable name in the field of education. It was time to venture into new waters and offer further in the field of education. It was then that the seeds of the ICSE section were sowed with the establishment of Aspee Nutan Academy which started its operation from June 2015.

The school’s endeavor is to inspire and empower its students to become lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever-changing global society. Aspee Nutan Academy believes that the underpinning of change relies on the creation of a learning community, where everyone has something to learn and something to teach. The mission of the school is to develop in each child the love of learning and ability to nurture family members, friends and self, the ability to engage in critical thinking and to demonstrate complete mastery of the academic building blocks which are necessary for a successful future.

Campus

The school campus has a total school area of 4039 square meters. There are a total of 40 classes on campus with 10 classes on each floor. Every classroom is ICT enabled. Educational facilities include 3 types of laboratories for science (chemistry, biology, physics), mathematics and ICT.

Extra-curricular facilities on campus include outdoor sports grounds for skating, volleyball, baseball, athletics, karate, judo, yoga and dance. There are also indoor sports facilities for chess, arts and talk words.

Academics

The school is affiliated with the CISCE. Students from Nursery to Grade 9 (till date) are taught by 56-person teaching staff who receive 30-days teacher training annually to ensure high-quality education imparted to the students. The school follows activity-based teaching and experimental learning.

Admission

The eligibility criterion for admission followed by the school is based on the basic principle of education for all. Hence it first caters to local students within the vicinity. The school follows a seamless admission process, with grade appropriate competency tests. For admission to primary and secondary school, the child is expected to achieve competency level as per the grades. For admission into pre-primary grades the school conducts an interaction with parents and accordingly grants admission.
