Overview

Aster Public School, Sector 9, Noida is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 2002, Aster Public School, Greater Noida is part of the Aster Group of Schools and Colleges promoted by the Smt. Angoori Devi Educational and Cultural Society.

The school was upgraded to senior secondary school in 2007 offering all the three streams – Science, Commerce and Humanities. The school’s motto is ‘Service before self’.

Campus

The campus hosts a senior library, labs for physics, biology and chemistry, two computer labs for secondary and primary sections, medical infirmary and a canteen.

The sports infrastructure includes facilities for skating, badminton, well maintained playgrounds for football, basketball court, tennis court, cricket pitch and an indoor games facility.

Academics

At the preschool level, the curriculum is activity based and participatory. Each month of the academic session includes theme of activities that incorporate and coordinate reading, numbers, writing, social studies, science and creative activities. In the primary wing, besides academics, children are exposed to various sports and games, music, dance and art and craft. The middle school is more of a transitional phase from the primary school environment to the more academically focused senior school. The curriculum at this level is interactive and activity based and focus is on balancing the child’s emotional development with his/her social, intellectual and physical development. At the senior secondary level, students are prepared for their career ahead and the school provides holistic support and guidance required to gear up for competitive exams and life ahead.
