Bal Bharati Public School (BBPS) at Rohini in New Delhi is a coeducational day school affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. Founded in 1989, the school offers education up to class XII. BBPS, Rohini belongs to the Child Education Society founded by Padma Vibhushan Lala Hansraj Gupta, an Indian philanthropist. The school uses Educomp’s Smart Class to impart digital learning.
The school hosts separate labs for biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. There is also a general science lab for junior students and three computer labs with internet connectivity. The school houses two well-equipped libraries with over 37,000 books on a variety of subjects.
There are two swimming pools – the main pool for senior students and the toddler pool for junior students. The pool is equipped with shower room and separate changing rooms for boys and girls.
The school also has a gym – spacious and well-equipped with machines such as treadmill, two slimming cycles and dumbbells. The school also has an AV room and a resource room for the faculty.
There are facilities for volleyball, hockey, table tennis, chess, gymnastics, throwball, carrom, cricket, football, swimming and badminton.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and offers education from nursery to class XII. The school has implemented the Educomp Smart Class program for classes I to XII (51 classrooms), physics lab, chemistry lab and biology lab. Apart from LCDs, interactive white boards have been introduced in 18 classrooms for an enhanced learning experience.
Extracurricular
The school promotes various clubs such as the astronomy club, eco club, interact club, sanskriti club, energy club, yuva club and robotics club and it hosts workshops, seminars, community service programs and international school exchange programs.
