Overview

BCM School, Basant Avenue, Dugri Road, Ludhiana is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was founded in April 2004 by the Hero Group. Started with 437 students and 30 teachers, the school has today grown to approximately 3500 students and 135 teachers.

The school motto is "Gyan, Swabhiman and Kalyan" which endeavours to mould young minds to build strong body, mind, spirit and character by seeking, analysing and practising knowledge in all facets of life.

Campus

Spread over 2.5 acres, the school campus hosts spacious and well furnished classrooms with modern teaching aids, a fully computerised library stocked with over 15,800 books and large collection of CD’s on various subjects, reading room, well equipped labs for computer, physics, biology, chemistry, math and language. The school also has e-classrooms, well furnished and sound proof auditorium with a seating capacity of 500-600, yoga room, art room, dance room, music room, counselors’ room and an infirmary.

The school’s sports infrastructure includes facilities for outdoor games like basketball, volleyball, badminton, athletics, kho-kho, cricket, handball and football and an indoor games facility for chess, carom and table-tennis.

General Information

Admission

Parents aspiring to admit their children at BCM School must register the child’s name at the school office by filling the registration form. Registration only makes the child eligible for interaction and does not guarantee admission.

Age eligibility for admission to nursery class is 2.5 years to 3.5 years and for LKG 3.5 years to 4.5 years as on March 31 of the year in which admission is sought. Admissions are subject to availability of seats and selection is based strictly on merit. 25 percent seats at the entry level are reserved for EWS category.
