The results of West Bengal Madhyamik (Class X) examinations of 2024 will be declared on May 2 and the results of Higher Secondary (Class XII) examinations of 2024 will be announced on May 8 , according to notifications issued by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education respectively on Friday.
The Madhyamik results will be declared by the board president Ramanuj Ganguly at 9am on May 2 and the Higher Secondary results will be declared by the council head, Chiranjib Bhattacharjee at 1 pm on May 8.
Madhyamik students will be able to see their results in 14 websites from 9.45am on May 2. The websites where the Class X results will be available are www.wbbse.wb.gov.in, www.results.shiksha, timesofindia.indiatimes.com/education, www.indianexpress.com, https:/www.tv9hindi.com, www.indiaresults.com, https://iresults.net, wb10.abplive.com, Bangla.hindustantimes.com, https://tv9bangla.com, wbresults.nic.in, www.jagranjosh.com, fastresult.in and http://www.indiatoday.in/education-today.
They can also view their results by downloading mobile apps “Madhyamik Results 2024”, “Madhyamik Result” and “FASTRESULT” from Google Play Store free of cost.
The websites in which the Higher Secondary results will be available will be announced soon, the council said.
Bengal education minister, Bratya Basu on Thursday had said that the results of the 2024 Madhyamik and Higher Secondary (Class XII) will be declared on May and May 8 respectively.
This year the Madhyamik started on February 2 and continued till February 12. The Higher Secondary exams ended on February 29.
Altogether 20 lakh students appeared in the two state board exams. Nearly 10 lakh students appeared in Madhyamik and eight lakh in Higher Secondary.
