Established in 1940 by Late Sri LN Birla, Birla High School is a day school for boys sited at Moira Street, Kolkata. The school hosts junior and sections and the medium of instruction is English. Affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the school offers classes from Kindergarten through class XII.

For the senior section (classes VI to XII), subjects offered include English, Hindi/Bengali, Elem. Bengali/Sanskrit/Hindi/French/German, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), History and Geography, Arts/Craft/Music, Information Technology , Physical Education, Value Education and General Knowledge for classes VI to VIII.
