British Council teacher training programmes

British Council (India) has scheduled to hold two certificate teacher training programmes for English language teachers — the Cambridge Young Learners English and Cambridge Main Suite — in June/July.Each three-day teacher training programme is certified by British Council, and will equip participants to train students for the Cambridge Young Learners and Cambridge Main Suite exams (administered by Cambridge University, UK). These language skills assessment tests are designed for children aged six-12 and 13 years plus respectively. The training programmes anchored by Cambridge University certified trainers will also provide wider access to latest language training resources, both online and offline. The fee for the programme is Rs.2,500 per participant. The CYLE teacher training programme will be held in Hyderabad from July 23-25, and the CMS programme in Coimbatore between June 25-27.
