Founded in 1999, Cambridge School at Indirapuram in Ghaziabad is a member of the chain of 8 Cambridge Schools founded by Alok Chandra Dev. It was the first institution in Delhi to prepare students for the Senior Cambridge Examination. It is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi.
The Cambridge chain of schools is administered by the Society for the Advancement of Education.
The school campus offers modern infrastructure which includes spacious classrooms, well-equipped gym, and a library featuring a stock of 14,000 books; well-equipped separate laboratories for science, math, computer, biology, physic, geography and psychology, medical room and a primary block for nursery children.
The Cambridge School, Indirapuram is affiliated with Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and offers education from nursery to class XII. There is no formal examination for the students of classes I-V. Evaluation is on the basis of comprehensive and continuous assessment (CCE). Students of class XI are offered three streams – humanities, commerce and science.
Extracurricular: Alongside academics, the school encourages its students to participate in a wide range of co-curricular activities such as art & craft, music, dance, clay modeling, debate, quiz and recitation. The school also promotes sports activities such as cricket, football, hockey, badminton, kho-kho, volleyball, skating, chess and athletics.
