I am indeed feeling elated to win CENTA-TPO-2022. It is an affirmation and a boost for my self-belief and food for my quest for learning. This TPO has given me another chance to make my family feel proud.
Preparing for and writing the TPO has definitely improved my skills as a teacher and as a productive member of the community, as it provided many opportunities to ponder upon the strategies for facilitating learning, creating awareness in society, and devising the best ways to cater to the dynamic needs of the fledgling minds.
I am very much excited to be a part of this global teachers’ community. In the future, I will definitely keep on learning and sharing the best practices with this global community.
I am a postgraduate in Commerce (M.Com), from DU. I belong to a family of educators. So I inherited many traits from my family. To become a certified member of this noble community, I started with Diploma in Elementary Teacher’s Education from JMI University. Then I graduated in Education ( B.Ed. ) and later did Post graduation in the same field ( M.Ed. ). I feel blessed to have an opportunity to work with little angels of primary classes, learn with them, and facilitate them for 20 years. Then after being promoted as a TGT, in 2023, I currently facilitate learning ‘Social Sciences’ to the learners of secondary classes. I have a penchant for academic content writing and have been contributing in this arena by preparing worksheets, stories, poems, assessment tools etc. for elementary classes.
