The Chhattisgarh State Open School (CGSOS) board is set to conduct the board exams. The apex education body has released a consolidated schedule for the exams for classes 10 and 12. The entire exam schedule is uploaded on the official portal of the CGSOS, and candidates can download the exam timetable from the website-sos.cg.gov.in.
The higher secondary exams will commence on March 26, 2023, and continue till May 2, 2023. The High School exams will start on April 1 2023, and end on May 2 2023.
The exams will be held between 8:45 am to 11:45 am. As per the directives the board issued, the students must enter the exam hall by 8:30 am, and the questionnaire will be distributed to them by 8:35 am. Each candidate will get ten minutes (8:35 am to 8:45 am) to go through the question paper before they start answering.
Similarly, the classes 10 exams schedule for the CGBSE have also been tabled. Exams for the regular class 10 students will be conducted between March 2, 2023, and March 24, 2023. The higher secondary exams for the CGBSE board will begin on March 1, 2023, and conclude on March 31, 2023.
In 2022 more than one lakh students enrolled for the CGSOS exams in Chhattisgarh. As per the government records, 53.7 per cent of students cleared the High School exams in the eastern state of India, and 64.3 per cent of students excelled in the Higher Secondary exams in Chhattisgarh.
Last year the number of students who appeared in the High School exams in Chhattisgarh was 36,411, and the number of students who appeared in the Higher Secondary exams was 67,895. The results of the CGSOS were declared online in 2022 and the students can also download and view the results from the board’s portal this year.
