Ingredients
- 4 whole wheat tortillas
- 6 tbsp chocolate almond butter or chocolate hazelnut spread
- 4 small bananas
For the tortilla
- 2 cups maida
- 2 cups atta
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 ½ cups water
Preparation guide
For the tortilla
- Whisk the flours, salt, and baking powder in a bowl. Mix in the oil with your fingers until the flour resembles cornmeal. Add the water and mix until the dough comes together; place on a lightly floured surface and knead a few minutes until smooth and elastic. Divide the dough into 24 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
- Roll them out like rotis and cook on a tawa.
Assembling the quesadilla
- Spread the chocolate almond butter over half of the tortilla. Top the almond butter with sliced bananas and fold the tortilla in half.
- Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the quesadilla on each side for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Slice in half.
