Take on summer heat with these super cool desserts – Parvathy Menon
250 gm chopped dark chocolate
6 popsicle sticks or wooden skewers
2 bananas, peeled and cut into thirds
cup chopped salted peanuts
Place chocolate in a pot set over a pan of gently simmering water. Stir until it melts.
Line a baking sheet with waxed paper.
Insert a popsicle stick in one end of each banana piece. Dip banana, one piece at a time, in chocolate, spooning on additional chocolate to cover it.
Sprinkle bananas with peanuts, and set on the baking sheet. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm (20 minutes).
NB: Bananas are rich in vitamin C and manganese and provide much-needed energy for hot summer days.
