DAIS students outshine in ICSE, IGCSE, IB Diploma Exams

Students of Dhirubhai Ambani International School, Mumbai (DAIS, estb 2003) recorded outstanding results in the CISCE, IGCSE and IB Diploma. Moreover, IB graduates of 2021 have received excellent university placements.

  • The No. 1 ‘National + International Curriculum’ School in Mumbai by the Times of India for the seventh consecutive year (2015 to 2021)

In the EducationWorld School Rankings 2021-22, DAIS has been highly ranked for competence of faculty, academic reputation, curriculum and pedagogy, special needs education, as well as for the newly introduced parameters of online education effectiveness and mental and emotional well-being services.

Though it looked like a formidable challenge initially, thanks to the extraordinary efforts and commitment of our teachers and administrators, the transition to the virtual school from early 2020 has been seamless and our experience transformative,” added she.

Ever since the school began its digital transformation journey, training teachers to make them proficient in the many features and applications of the Microsoft 365 Education Suite on the Teams platform was a priority. While the formation of the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) has significantly contributed to augmenting teaching resources and strengthening the culture of sharing best practices, the team of Director of Technology and Technology Coaches played a pivotal role in keeping the teachers abreast of the requisite digital technology skills.

DAIS has recently been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School, thus joining a select league of schools for their vision and innovation in teaching, learning, and preparing students for the future.

In the ICSE examinations, all 31 students of the 16 batch of ICSE Class X have achieved spectacular results, of students who wrote the exam.

  • 26 students scored 95%and above
  • 29 students scored 90%and above

IGCSE Class X Results 2021 of Cambridge International (UK)

  • 6% of grades achieved are A*s and A’s (UK National Average: 28.9 %, UK Independent Schools average: 61.2 %)
  • 3 % of all grades earned are A*’s (UK National average:7.4)

Class XII (IB Diploma Programme) 2021

The 17th Batch of IB Diploma students has achieved remarkable results in the examinations of 2021. 103 students of the Class of 2021 received the IB Diploma and three were IB Certificate Candidates.

  • The School’s average Diploma score is 41.1 (ex global average 33
  • 17 students emerged as World Toppers with a perfect score of 45 points achieved by 1351 students worldwide.

University Placements 2021

DAIS IB graduates from the class of 2021 received 418 admission offers from 136 universities and colleges in 12 countries: Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Singapore, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and United States of America.

  • The class of 2021 had an acceptance rate of 43 % of their applications, with 17% achieving 100% success rate.
