DAV Girls Senior Secondary School is an all girls day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1970, the school belongs to the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Schools System, also known as the D.A.V. Public Schools System, one of the largest non-governmental education societies in India based on the ideals of the religious and social reformer, Swami Dayanand Saraswati. The school offers education from pre primary to class XII with 114 faculty members and 3111 students.
The 1.5 acre school campus hosts a library featuring a collection of about 5761 books, an auditorium, well-equipped labs for physics, chemistry and biology, computers, well-ventilated classrooms, a canteen, music room, dance room, an indoor games facility and playground with a play area of about 2360 square feet. The school also has an infirmary and a ramp to assist differently abled students.
