DAV Public School, located at Pushpanjali Enclave, New Delhi is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Functioning under the aegis of Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Schools system, the school was founded by Shri Darbari Lal Ji in January 1989 with 400 students on roll and 20 staff members. Today, the school boasts 4000 students from Kindergarten through class XI and 200 teaching and non teaching staff members.

The school spreads across 3.5 acres, hosting a separate Kindergarten wing, 90 spacious and well ventilated classrooms equipped with Smart Boards, and state-of-the-art laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, math, geography and psychology. There is a computer lab on each floor, a conference room for meetings and seminars and a computerized library.
The campus also houses dance rooms, music rooms, medical infirmary, gymnasium, indoor games facility and a 2 acre play ground.
The kindergarten section houses a separate library for the tiny tots along with a clay modeling room. The play room is equipped with educational toys and there is an exclusive outdoor play area. Children are taught computer skills and stress is laid on creating an environment which promotes thirst for learning. The school holds regular parent-teacher interaction.
The school follows the CBSE syllabus and ensures physical, mental, moral and social health of its students. Health education is woven in the general curriculum to make children health conscious; the school offers the services of a nutritionist too. The school also offers food planning in its curriculum as an activity under SUPW; children from class III onwards are given an insight into the general basics of making and eating nutritive food required by the body.
Extracurricular: The school has a full fledged music department and students from class II to XII play almost 50 musical instruments; the school has also attained national and international acclaim in the field of music. Students are also provided training in classical, western and folk style of dancing. The school promotes sports activities such as volleyball, kho-kho, athletics, judo, basketball, cricket, badminton and table-tennis.
