Due to the upcoming G20 summit, the Delhi government has announced the closure of all schools from September 7 to September 10. However, it has requested that Education department employees remain in the city during this time in case their manpower is needed for the event.
The G20 Leaders Summit is scheduled for September 9-10 at the newly constructed Bharat Mandapam convention center in Pragati Maidan, Delhi.
To ensure preparedness for the event, the government has asked Education department staff to be available and on standby, with no outstation leave permitted during this period. The directive emphasizes the importance of their presence in Delhi during the G20 Summit, which will be attended by numerous world leaders and dignitaries.
