Promoted in 2004, Delhi Public School, Bilaspur is a co-educational, day-cum-boarding school. It is a franchisee school of the Delhi Public School Society which has a network of 150 schools countrywide.
DPS, Bilaspur is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from kindergarten to XII. The school campus sprawls across 10.5 acres of land.
The aim of the school is to enable the holistic development of students and help them develop critical thinking, leadership and decision making skills.
The 10.5 acre campus comprises two blocks. The school boasts 62 spacious classrooms, 3 prep classes, 2 nursery classes, one pre-nursery class, Educomp smart classes and art room. The science laboratories are fully computerized. The school also hosts separate labs for physics, chemistry, maths and biology and a well stocked library with a veritable collection of reference books, story books, periodicals magazines, journals and newspapers. The pre-primary section offers a toy room, sandpit, amusement park, splash pool, and library.

DPS is affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi and offers education from kindergarten to class XII.
Playway method is used for pre-nursery, nursery and preparatory children. Sanskrit or German is offered as a third language for class VI to VIII. Hindi or Sanskrit is offered as a second language upto class X.
In classes XI-XII, choice between the science and commerce streams is offered.
Extracurricular activities
The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, which include art and craft, performing arts, language club, essay writing, singing, painting, sketching, clay modeling, debates, photography, music and drama.

School admissions are open from pre-nursery to class XII for day scholars and from class V to XII for boarders.
Nursery and pre-nursery: Students aged between two years and three years are eligible for admissions. The completed registration forms along with the copy of birth certificate should be submitted to the school office. Registration does not assure admission.
Other classes: After registration, an admission test is conducted. All applicants are required to write the entrance test that will be based on English, mathematics, second language and general knowledge. This will be followed by an interaction with the principal.
Selection of the candidates will depend upon the child’s performance in the test/ interview and availability of seats.
