Established in 2006 by Gayatri Prakash (Trustee) and Amit Prakash (Pro-Vice Chairman) under the aegis of the Sanskriti Educational Society, the CBSE affiliated co-ed day Delhi Public School, Harni (Vadodara) has quickly risen in public esteem for promoting futuristic curriculums and internationally benchmarked pedagogies that enable students to evolve into intelligent and conscientious individuals committed to contribute positively to the global society.

Sited on a state-of-the-art 7-acre campus, DPS Harni offers contemporary infrastructure for academics. Facilities include 89 classrooms (19 of which are equipped with ICT teaching-learning facilities), 11 well-equipped labs including one ATL Lab and four hi-tech computer labs. 

Moreover, to enable holistic student development, the school management has invested generously in an enabling infrastructure for sports  (cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, basketball, athletics, tennis and table-tennis, swimming, etc) and co-curricular education (dance, music, painting, etc). 





Affiliated with CBSE, the school offers classes from pre-nursery through class XII. At the senior secondary level, science, commerce and humanities streams are offered. 

The school’s pedagogical practices encompass exploration, free play and project-based learning which enable students to acquire skills through authentic and stimulating learning experiences. A multisensory approach makes learning enjoyable through incorporation of engaging multimedia activities. Collaborative learning, experiential learning, interdisciplinary approach, flipped teaching and peer teaching are integral elements of the school’s pedagogical practices. 

ICT technology is leveraged extensively to make learning more engaging and effective. Students are encouraged to prepare Powerpoint presentations/videos while preparing projects.

Admission notification for Delhi Public School Harni is published online in October/November every year. The application forms are available pon the school website. 

Admission to classes other than pre-nursery and classes IX & XI is subject to the availability of seats and performance. It is based on the eligibility of the student and is strictly as per the CBSE guidelines. The admission process involves interaction and observation.

  • DPS Harni was ranked first among all Delhi Public Schools and #9 among all CBSE schools in India in the academic session 2014-15.
  • Sukriti Kesar scored 93.2 percent in the class XII board exam 2015 and ranked third in Vadodara.   
  • Ved Markandey scored 98.4 percent in the 2021 class X board exam and ranked third in Vadodara. 
  • Arpan Mittal and Vraj Patel (batch of 2016-17) and Hamza Ansari (batch of 2018-19) qualified for the prestigious Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Scholarship.
  • Nyay Prateek Mahalik (batch of 2016-17) was awarded NTSE scholarship.
  • Aditya Korah and Shubhangi Prasad of class X were the Gujarat regional winners in TCS IT Wiz, the biggest inter-school IT Quiz in India for students of classes VII-XII.
  • Krish Wadhwani received Certificate of Distinction in Mathematics and Computing in ‘Fermat Contest’ – University of Waterloo (2021).
  • DPS Harni under-14 girls volleyball team bagged the first spot in the district level Khel Mahakumbh 2019-20. The team received a cash prize of  Rs 18,000.
  • DPS Harni under-17 girls volleyball team secured third spot in the district level Khel Mahakumbh for two consecutive years (2018-19 and 2019-20). The team won a cash prize of Rs 24,000.
  • DPS Harni Kabaddi team emerged winners in the SGFI State Championship for two consecutive years and received prize money of Rs. 1,08,000.
