Delhi Public School, Jodhpur is a coeducational day cum residential school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The school was founded by in 1998 by Dinesh Kothari, pro-vice chairman, DPS Jodhpur, along with Dr. Mehta, the then chairman, SEBI under the support and guidance of the DPS Society.
DPS Jodhpur is promoted by Shugan Chandra Kothari trust and managed by Delhi Public School Society. Having started with 280 children, the institution today boasts over 4000 students.
The school campus is spread across 15 acres hosting several blocks. The primary block comprises an EVS lab, a well equipped infirmary, well stocked library, an activity room, art room, computer lab, open theatre, music and dance room, a story telling arena and a splash pool.
The middle block houses spacious well ventilated classrooms, six bedded infirmary, library for middle school, art room, computer lab, an amphitheatre that can accommodate 200 students, music room, dance room, science lab, math lab and EVS lab.
The senior block also houses spacious class rooms, an infirmary, two art rooms and music and dance rooms.
The lab and library block houses the resource lab, computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, biology lab, math lab, geography lab, biotech lab, a well stocked library and an auditorium with a seating capacity of more than 500.
The school’s primary curriculum is divided into pre primary and primary school curriculum. Teaching methodology used is Play Way Method and emphasis is laid on reading, writing and listening skills. Other subjects covered include nature study, EVS and math.
The middle school curriculum includes languages, sciences, mathematics, computers, art and craft, dance and sports. At the senior school level, various social, cultural and sporting activities are incorporated into the curriculum. Students have options of science, commerce and humanities inclusive of current competitive subjects like informatics practices, biotechnology and business studies along with the other technical subjects.
Extracurricular: Extracurricular activities include debates, poem recitation, music, dance, declamation, extempore, essay writing, creative writing, elocution, craft, quiz and a host of sports activities such as cricket, volleyball, football, table tennis, athletics, chess, carom and athletics.

Kumar Ayush, a student of DPS Jodhpur, won the silver medal in the 7th International Olympiad on Astronomy and Astrophysics (IOAA) held in Volos, Greece from July 27 to August 5, 2013.
The pro-vice chairman of DPS, Jodhpur, DC Kothari was awarded the Mother Teresa Award for Excellence in the field of education in Kolkata on 6 April 2011.
There are separate residential blocks for boys and girls and each block is under the supervision of House Master/Mistress with Hostel Attendants who provides personalized care and assistance to students. Senior hostel comprises 23 rooms and junior hostel is comprised of five dormitories.
The school hostel also houses a common room, sports room, a two storeyed air conditioned dining hall with a seating capacity of 150 students on each floor.
The hostel canteen menu includes rice, chapattis, pulses, vegetables, salad and sweet dishes. The menu is changed each week.
