Delhi Public School (DPS), Panipat Refinery is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school was established in 1998 as a joint venture between DPS Society and IOC, Panipat Refinery to provide education to the children of Panipat Refinery employees. The school started with 400 students and 25 teachers and has come a long way now with around 1900 students from nursery to class XII and around 100 teachers.
Following the motto “Service before Self”, the school aims at producing well rounded, sensible and rational human beings who can serve the nation and the world.
The school was awarded the International School Award (ISA) in 2009-10 by the British Council and also has been chosen as one of the British Council Ambassador schools.
The school hosts a well stocked library, well equipped labs fro physics, chemistry, biology and computers, spacious and well ventilated classrooms, canteen, medical infirmary and a play area.
The school follows the CBSE curriculum and offers education from nursery through class XII. The school constantly endeavors to impart holistic education with a focus on academic excellence, intellectual & spiritual growth, sportsmanship and aesthetic excellence of the students. The academic curriculum of the school promotes critical thinking, life skills, sensitivity towards nature and personality development.
The school has been consistently producing excellent results in board examinations, competitive examinations as well as co curricular events.
