Delhi Public School (DPS), Ranipur, is the first venture of DPS Society outside Delhi. Established in 1977, the school is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and provides quality education to children from Prep-Junior to class XII. It believes in creating an ambience for learning which enables multi-faceted growth of a child’s personality. The school has around 3600 students. It has maintained good academic results and incorporated new methodologies and exposure for the holistic development of the students.
DPS, Ranipur sprawls over 60 acres in the pollution-free atmosphere of Ranipur. It hosts four separate wings for pre-primary, junior, middle and senior sections. It offers three well-stocked libraries for each wing, fully equipped science laboratories and three computer labs for the junior, middle and senior wings. The school has a state-of-the-art language lab with facilities for digital education. There are two spacious activity halls in the pre-primary and the middle wings and a skating rink.
The school also houses an open theater, art room, multimedia room, music room, badminton hall, gymnasium, horse riding arena, skating rink, table tennis room and school canteen.
DPS, Ranipur, is an English medium co-educational school affiliated to the CBSE board, New Delhi and offers education from pre-primary to class XII. Education includes General Awareness and Environmental Education. Students are allowed to learn subjects through hands-on activities and are encouraged to indulge their curiosity to learn more.
Extracurriculars:
Students participate in dramatics, music, dance, cultural events, debates, quizzes, elocution and art. The school conducts summer coaching camps for athletics, basketball, table tennis, badminton, hockey, cricket, football, taek-won-do, horse-riding, skating and yoga. Sports coaching is offered throughout the year.

Admission eligibility for prep-junior classes is 3 plus on April 1 of the year of admission. Registration forms are available only on the website on payment of a prescribed fee. For prep-senior, admission is granted on the basis of observation-cum-interaction. Presence of both the parents during the interaction is mandatory.The list of selected candidates is posted on the notice board of the school and the school website. The parents of selected candidates are required to contact the school office for the completion of the admission formalities.
For classes I to IX, a formal written test is conducted in English. General Awareness test is also conducted for classes V to XI. For classes VI-IX, an additional test in Science is conducted.
Fees:
The admission fee ranges from Rs. 33,500 to Rs 36,000.
The first quarter fee is about Rs. 10,700, and for 2nd 3rd and 4th quarters, it is about Rs. 5700. There are some variations based on the class, BHEL wards, etc.
DPS, Ranipur has been ranked among the best co-educational day schools in India by the Education World C-fore Survey 2013.
The school does not provide hostel facility.
