Overview

The Delhi School of Music, established by Delhi Music Society is currently the premier institution for teaching western classical music. The school came into being in 1966 under the direction of Dr. H. J. Koelreutter, a musician and composer who was also the head of Max Mueller Bhavan in Delhi. The school also functions as a centre for the examinations of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, England, as well as of the Trinity College of Music, London.

Grades 1 to 4: One individual class of 40 minutes per week - Rs. 5,500 per term Grades 5 to 7: One individual class of 40 minutes per week – Rs. 6,000 per term Grades 8 & Diploma (Senior): Class of 1 hour per week – Rs. 6,500 per term DANCE: One class of 1 hour per week (Group Class) – Rs. 4,500 per term VOICE: 40 minutes per week (individual class) – Rs. 5,500 per term Term: 3 months enrolment fee on admission – Rs. 500 Annual maintenance charge – Rs. 500
