Delhi Education Minister Atishi has announced the introduction of seven new courses at the Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) for the academic session 2023-24. These programs have been developed in accordance with industry requirements to ensure that students are well-prepared for the job market and capable of driving innovation and economic growth.
The newly introduced courses include a Diploma in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Robotics, and Process Automation, as well as a BBA in Operations and Business Process Management, Hospital Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and BSc and MSc in Medical Laboratory Science.
Atishi emphasized the importance of aligning education with industry demands to support the rapid growth of the economy and provide high-quality skill education for Delhi’s youth.
Furthermore, DSEU has established partnerships with over 90 national and international industrial collaborators, including companies like Mercedes Benz and Schneider, to offer students exceptional learning opportunities and industry exposure.
One of the new courses, Robotics and Process Automation, focuses on designing, building, and operating robots and automation systems, allowing students to develop technical skills through hands-on projects.
The three-year diploma program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning offers students the opportunity to gain expertise in this rapidly growing field of computer science.
The Delhi government reported that over 150 companies participated in DSEU’s placement drive in the 2022-23 academic year, and students secured placements in prominent companies such as Nokia, Hero, Honda, IGL, Tata, and GE Healthcare.
