This year, DK India added a new online quiz component #TheDKQuizOnline, the winner of which has won a wildcard entry into the grand finale and the chance to be shortlisted for the stage round.

Commenting on the DK Quiz, Sharma said, “We want to provide a platform to the students to demonstrate their knowledge beyond just textbooks. The DK Quiz promotes curiosity, excitement, and the spirit of innovation and exploration amongst school children in areas as diverse as science, nature, and popular culture. We are thrilled to connect with our younger readers and the excitement and enthusiasm among the participants is unbelievable. This year has truly been a mega-event.”

During the grand finale, ace quizmaster Adittya Nath Mubayi kept the finalists on the edge of their seats with some mind-boggling questions in a mix of rounds, such as audio-visual, jigsaws, direct orals, and buzzer rounds. The audience too got a chance to participate through special questions and prizes.

“The depth of knowledge in DK’s books and the breadth of curiosity in Delhi’s students have made The DK Quiz 2015 a challenging and satisfying series. I’ve hosted quizzes for two decades but this is the first inclusive series, where even non-quizzers have discovered the joy of quizzing and taken home fabulous prizes. Quizcraft Global has had a great time powering this edutainment initiative,”said Adittya Nath Mubayi, founder-director, Quizcraft Global.

DK India added to the day’s excitement with a showcase of their children’s educational website DKfindout. Packed with facts and amazing images, the interactive website supports learning in home and school by covering all key subject areas. The participating teams, teachers, and cheerleading squads also got a chance to participate in engaging activities such as games and contests through a message board, dinosaur activity centre, as well as browsing DK’s expansive range of books – from prehistoric animals to LEGO, from the human body to Gandhi.
