Eastern Fare Music Foundation is a premier music institute in Bangalore, launched in February 2009. The institute started with only twenty-five students and now has over 400 students all over Bangalore. Students can apply regardless of their level of ability in music. The institute’s approach to music education is dedicated to the artistic development of talented and promising musicians. In order to achieve this goal the institute gives opportunities to students of low-income families and provides subsidized, private or group lessons.
With commercial and western classical music as its key focus areas, the institute provides three elementary courses – beginners, intermediate and advanced in acoustic guitar, classical guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, piano and keyboard. Students seriously aspiring for a career in music can enroll for a graded course recognized by Trinity Guildhall.
Courses are also offered in flute, veena and vocals.
The programs include rigorous schedule of lessons, practice and theoretical learning. In addition, students are also encouraged to participate in many esteemed competitions and performances to further their musical talents. They can also avail the services of the audio studio/production house to explore their creative abilities.
Eastern Fare is equipped with a state-of -the -art jamming room and two semi-acoustic studios to develop the expressive potential of the students besides encouraging their technical knowhow of music.
