National Level Scholarship Exam – NLCEE 2021, which is launched for Classes 9 to 12, and 12 standard and graduates, is going to be held from January 21 to 25 in online mode. Scholarships worth Rs 5 Cr available.

Sizeable students in India struggle to get proper education due to a lack of information, guidance, financial reasons, among others. Every year, many talented students have to leave their studies due to some, or other problem. Education is crucial for the overall growth and development of a child as it opens doors to opportunities which then pave ways for a better quality of life. Ensuring a quality education for all is essential in creating a level playing field, a scenario where people can be judged based on their talent and hard work and not on other factors.

Organised by the alumnus of IITs, NITs and IIMs, NLCEE is a National Level Common Entrance Examination owned and administered by Edvizo, primarily to search talented candidates, extend maximum support to the unprivileged and provide scholarships to the deserved, so that more and more students can fulfill their dream of better education. With the explosion of information on digital media, students are loaded with information but get highly confused about their future.

More than 2,700 coaching Institutes are participating in this exam and will take admissions based on the NLCEE rank and they will also provide scholarships of up to 100% to the top rankers. Prizes include – Laptop for All India Rank 1 holder (3 students), Tablets to Rank 2 holder (3 students), Mobile Phone to Rank 3 holder (3 students). Top 5000 students will get a Certificate of Appreciation.

The NLCEE entrance test is the only admissions test in India that is accepted by thousands of coaching classes. Students can use their rank to take admissions in any coaching institute and they can pay their tuition fee every month or as per their convenience. Most institutions charge full fees in one or two installments, which is impossible for many parents to pay in this format and these cases, a student’s dream remains a dream forever.

Who should apply – Students planning to take admissions in coaching institutes for their competitive exam preparation like JEE, NEET, State Engineering, UPSC, Banking, Railways, Defense, etc can participate in this exam to avail of scholarships on tuition fees. The participants for the exam are the students studying in classes 9 to 12, 12th Pass and graduates.

The examination is going to be conducted in Online mode only from 21 Jan 2021 to 25 Jan 2021 in 3 different time slots every day. Thus a student can easily participate in this examination sitting at their homes. This will be a 1-hour examination with 50 questions to be answered. Each correct answer shall carry 4 marks while minus 1 mark for every wrong answer. No marks shall be deducted for questions that are not attempted. With a strong desire to deliver on the social commitments, the NLCEE team has kept fee levels for the registration of female candidates to a token sum of ₹50 only. The NLCEE team believes that this is the first step and they plan to expand the push as they find more dreams to give wings to.

In the first edition of NLCEE, which was conducted in Offline mode at 62 locations across the country, a total of around 22,000 students had applied for this exam. This time, the NLCEE team is expecting a total of more than 1.5 lakh registrations.
