Emerald Heights International School, Indore is an English medium, coeducational day-cum-boarding school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Founded in 1982 by Suneeta Singh, The Emerald Heights International School aims to “endorse a holistic education model with a high quality educational environment”.

Spread over 100 acres of lush green campus in Indore, Madhya Pradesh the school campus hosts state-of-the-art infrastructure including 50 classrooms with interactive touchscreen panels, lecture halls, MUN conference and training hall, innovative skill development laboratories for experiential learning for Robotics, Quizzing, Mathematics, Grooming, Science, Computer and Geography. The laboratories have additional classrooms with audio-visual technology.
The school has a resource center-cum-library which has an extensive collection of national and international books, journals, periodicals and digital resources from across the world. The library is equipped with audio-visual technology and internet facility. It also has a small theatre for dramatics and presentation of research work. And we have separate library for our primary students.
The indoor sports complex with 5000 seating capacity is a multi-purpose grand hall. The complex houses facilities for table tennis with 25 tables, 10m shooting range with 22 targets, chess, billiards, wooden courts for badminton and basketball, visual arts center and studios for dance, music and dramatics. The hall is equipped with grand stage and hi-tech automated light and sound facilities.
The facilities for outdoor sports include sport climbing, bouldering, athletics track, courts for tennis, basketball, netball, throw ball, handball and volleyball, roller hockey rink, banked skating track, gymnastics, cricket and football ground, field hockey and swimming pool.
The school follows the CBSE syllabus. According to a school spokesperson, “The key elements of our educational program are integrated interactive learning across the curriculum that ensures openness, celebrates diversity and creates a multicultural learning community. It also provides all that a child needs for a truly holistic, relevant and international education and lays emphasis on meaningful learning rather than just passing the examination, and finally emphasizes parental partnership in the child’s learning”.
Extracurricular: Besides sports, the school promotes a host of co-curricular activities including still life painting, craft, digital art, sculpture/pottery, instrumental music, vocal music, dance, dramatics, student run clubs for literary, public speaking, cookery, robotics, community service, nature, film making, photography, dramatics, IT-Web, App designing and game development, quiz, art, ecoshashtra, business, psychology, etc. and publishing, debates, declamation and NCC.
