Goyal: new horizons overseas

Naveen Goyal is the founder-CEO of NoPaperForms Solutions Pvt. Ltd (NPS, estb.2017), a Delhi-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company (no. of employees 400). Under its Meritto and Collexo ERP brands, NPS facilitates admissions automation and e-payment services for over 1,200 educational institutions globally.

Newspeg. In January, the company launched Collexo Pixi, a smart, RuPay-enabled cash card to facilitate fees and other payments by students in higher education institutions.

History. An alumnus of the Technological Institute of Textiles and Sciences, Bhiwani, Goyal’s entrepreneurial journey precedes his corporate experience of a decade, beginning with Honeywell Technology Solutions in 2008 followed by tenures at Edukriti Learning Solutions Pvt. Ltd and Careers360 as as promoter-director and Chief Strategy Officer.

According to Goyal, the education sector has been slow to adopt technology. Therefore, Meritto experienced “tough times” to educate school and college managements about the time and costs saving advantages of ERP (enterprise resource programs) that automate student admissions, enrolment and billing.

“However by sponsoring and participating in education conferences and seminars, the company has succeeded in impacting its Meritto ERP software programme upon schools and colleges,” he says.

Direct talk. “Meritto not only processes admission data but also enables education institutions to scale their admissions and student engagement initiatives. Thus far, Meritto has processed over 5 million admission applications. Our second big product is Collexo, a full-stack payments and financial cloud suite that facilitates all student payments to education institutions. Both products complement each other enabling school/college managements to slash administration expenditure and boost faculty productivity to improve students’ learning outcomes,” says Goyal.

Future plans. With Meritto and Collexo well-established brands in India, Goyal has drawn up plans to expand the company’s operations to Malaysia, the UAE, and US. “As we focus on global growth, we are also developing AI-driven modules to upgrade and enhance our existing products. Moreover, we plan to propagate our recently introduced Meritto certification programmes for education professionals managing student recruitment and enrollment functions,” he says.
