Fatima Convent School, Mariyam Nagar, Ghaziabad is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), New Delhi. Founded in 1989, the school is named in commemoration of the Virgin Mary apparitions to three shepherd children at Fatima in Portugal in 1917 during World War I to pray and stand for world peace.
The mission of Fatima Convent School, Mariyam Nagar is to live up to its motto “Love, Sacrifice, Service” and inculcate in its students moral strength and sound education in keeping with the nation’s aspirations.
The four storeyed school building is divided into eight blocks that house a well stocked library, audio visual lab, computer lab, labs for physics, chemistry and biology, auditorium, prayer room and playgrounds for various sports and games.
Affiliated with CISCE, the school’s medium of instruction is English with Hindi and Sanskrit as additional languages. The school strongly believes in equipping its students for a technology enabled future and hence computer education is compulsory from class I. Extracurricular and sports activities are also encouraged.
