Global Innovators and Researchers Conclave THE TEXTILE ASSOCIATION (INDIA) CENTRAL and TAI Delhi unit along with Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Delhi), Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology (DCRUST) and Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai organized a two day Global Innovators and Researchers Conclave at Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology, Murthal, Sonepat, (Haryana) on January 20 and 21, 2018 to usher in new ideas for improving quality of education and provide holistic solutions. Around 1000 people attended the first day of the function including industry people from neighbourhood areas, bureaucrats and faculty members from all affiliated colleges of DCRUST University. While students took part in poster presentations and verbal orations, faculty members presented high quality papers held at the university’s magnificent auditorium which has a seating capacity of 1500 people. On day two, around 300 students and faculty members made their presence felt. The highlight of the two-day events were the plenary sessions. Dr. B.K. Behera, IIT Delhi, Dr. M.D. Teli, Mr. Ujjwal Uke, retired assistant Chief Secretary, Government of Maharashtra were among the list of speakers who presented educative papers. While the local media covered the event, Kavita Jain, minister, Government of Haryana visited the conclave and appreciated the contents and efforts. The credit of the success of the conclave should also be attributed to the active participation by TAI, Delhi, represented by its President D.K. Singh and other members.
