Founded in 1984, First Steps boasts a team of well-trained educators who have been nurturing children for over two decades. The preschool shares a close and informal relationship with parents as a child’s social growth is closely knit to the value system of his/her parents and teachers.
The mission of First Steps is “to never give up on a child and allow children to bloom like flowers in their own special way, keeping in mind their individual capabilities. First Steps strives to build self confidence and self-esteem in a child that enables him to adapt to any situation and environment easily”. Apart from academics, the First Steps curriculum aims at fostering the all round development of a child.
First Steps is located in the heart of the city. It hosts a large spacious playground, with a dollhouse, slides, swings, see-saws, tunnel-play and other play equipment. A large jacaranda tree provides ample shade and greenery in the play area. The school’s three floored building accommodates six large, well ventilated classrooms with easy access to toilets on each floor.
The school also has a 200 volume library, a 1,500 square feet playing field and a roof top swimming pool supervised by 16 highly qualified teachers. The staircase and balconies are secured with grills.
The school also has a spa on the rooftop for mothers who after dropping their wards can visit the spa to refresh and rejuvenate themselves.
