Gitanjali School, Hyderabad is a co-ed day school affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
Gitanjali Primary School was founded in April 1985 and is located at Begumpet in Hyderabad. The campus has 12000 sq. yds. open space with 26000 sq. ft. built up area and has a separate building for the nursery, pre-primary and primary sections, with a strength of 900 students.
Gitanjali Senior School was established in June 1990. Although situated in a busy area of the city, once within the premises, the bustle of city life seems quiet far away and the children have the time and space to think, learn and play. The school has a strength of 750 students.
The school aims at developing the total personality of the child, to make him/her a better citizen of tomorrow with reverence for Indian culture, regard for elders and respect for the noble ideals and norms of society.

Gitanjali school is affiliated with the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and prepares students for the ICSE exams in class X and the ISC examination in class XII.
The medium of instruction is English, with second languages being Hindi and Telugu and third languages Hindi, Telugu, Urdu and Sanskrit.

SportsAdmissions are open to children irrespective of caste, creed or community. Children are admitted as day scholars and the minimum age for admission to nursery is two and a half years.
Non-refundable admission fees of Rs. 2500 and caution money deposit will have to be paid at the time of admission.
The prospective parents must register the name of their child by 2nd January but registration alone does not guarantee admission.
Registration/application forms for admission may be obtained from the school office. Prospective parents must submit the birth certificate / transfer certificate, or only indisputable evidence of the date of birth and the last examination report. Also, a registration fee of Rs. 175 should accompany each application.
Intimations regarding entrance tests and interviews will be given to all those who have registered. Admissions are made on the basis of merit and not on priority of registration.
