A BA second-year student was tragically stabbed to death following a dispute between two groups of students at Bhagwan Parshuram College in this Haryana district, according to the police.
The incident occurred in the college’s canteen, located in Sector-5 of Urban Estate, on Wednesday evening. As per the FIR filed in connection with the incident, Shivam, a resident of Baroli village in Jind district, was at the college canteen with his friends when another group of students arrived. Some of them verbally insulted one of Shivam’s friends. When Shivam raised objections, a quarrel ensued, leading to one of the accused allegedly stabbing him with a knife.
The three accused students fled the scene on a two-wheeler. Shivam was rushed to a private hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Police arrived at the college shortly after the incident, reviewing CCTV footage that showed the three accused students leaving the college premises on a two-wheeler. A murder case has been registered, and the police are conducting raids to apprehend the suspects.
