Established in 1974 by the Catholic Church, Holy Family High School, Chembur West is an English medium co-educational day school affiliated with the Archdiocesan Board of Education run by the Archdiocese of Bombay. It started with a class of 50 students and 2 teachers and today it boasts 1415 students from Kindergarten through class X.
The school hosts spacious classrooms, separate laboratories for Physics, Chemistry and Biology well equipped with the latest apparatus, computer lab and specially designed language lab.
The school is affiliated with Maharashtra State Board of SSC and HSC Education and offers education from Kindergarten to class X. The school conducts various competitive exams such as Homi Bhabha BAL Vaidnyank exams, the Maharashtra State Scholarship Examination for class IV and class VII and Elementary and Intermediate drawing exams for class VIII.
The school also promotes various interest clubs such as Science Club, Eco Club and Celebration Club.
