Overview

ICFAI University, Dehradun was promoted in 2004 by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), a non-profit educational society and is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London and Member of the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi. The university aims to offer world class, innovative, career-oriented professional post graduate and undergraduate programmes through inclusive technology aided pedagogies to equip students with the requisite professional and life skills as well as social sensitivity and high sense of ethics.

Campus

The 25 acre lush green campus wi-fi enabled campus of ICFAI University, Dehradun hosts academic blocks, workshops, laboratories, faculty rooms, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs with computing facility, a well stocked library featuring reference materials, Indian and international books and magazines, canteen, sports and recreation facilities. The university hosts indoor and outdoor facilities for sports and recreation.

Tech is offered in the following disciplines: Civil Engineering Computer Science & Engineering Electronics & Communications Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering BBA, BCom, BSc, BA, BA-LLB, BBA-LLB, LLB, Bed Postgraduate courses MTech, MBA, LLM Ph.D. programme (full-time & part-time) Extra-curricular activities Students are encouraged to participate in several co-curricular activities such as group discussions, games, management games, elocution, seminars, debating, industrial visits, quizzes, sports meet, skits & plays, cultural meets, t-group sessions, among others.

General Information

Admission

Admission is based on merit through application and admission test. Applicants can download the application form from www.iudehradun.edu.in, fill it up and send it to the admissions office. Applicants are required to enclose self-attested copies of the following certificates: Date of birth certificate / class X certificate Mark sheets of class X, XII, degree, diploma Domicile certificate (if applicable) Any other certificates pertaining to academic and other activities Eligibility for B.Tech Candidate should have passed in class XII or equivalent (PCM group) with 60 percent and above aggregate marks. Achievement

ICFAI University has been awarded the pan India Educational Excellence Award in the category of “Leading Private University in India” for Business Management, Technology and Law Courses instituted by the Brands Academy, New Delhi.
