IMS Unison University, Dehradun was promoted in 2013 by Late Shri Naveen Agarwal, founder chairman of the Unison Group. General Information

Admission

Eligibility Criteria: Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) - 55 percent aggregate marks in postgraduation along with good academic record. MBA - Graduate with minimum 45 percent marks. For final year appearing candidates, an aggregate of all previous years should be minimum 45 percent. BBA/ B.Com (Hons)/ BA (Journalism and Mass Communication) - 10+2 pass with minimum 45 percent marks and English as a subject. LLM - LLB/ BA LLB/ BBA LL.B or equivalent with minimum 45 percent marks. Integrated BA.LLB (Hons)/ Integrated BBA.LLB (Hons) - 10+2 pass with minimum 45 percent marks and English as a subject. Upper age limit Twenty (20) years as on 1st July of the academic year. MA (Journalism and Mass Communication) - Graduate with minimum 45 percent marks Admission Process: Candidate needs to check the eligibility criteria for courses and then fill in the online enquiry form. On filling up of the online enquiry form, a unique application number and a unique OTP will be sent to the candidate. This OTP can be used as one time password. This password can be then used further, to change the password. With this application number and password, candidate needs to go to the registration link and follow the registration instructions and then register and pay an application fee of Rs. 1250/- through Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Net Banking/ NEFT/ RTGS. Candidates can also register there and pay in cash at the cash counter or through bank demand draft in person at the university ‘s Admissions Office On successful payment of the application fee, a receipt will be generated by the system. Candidate needs to take a print of the registered form and send the scanned copies of all the documents required with application no. in the subject line to [email protected]. The application fee is non-refundable. Application to a programme does not guarantee admission. After the registration process is complete, the university will further invite the candidate to complete admission process which includes entrance exam and interview. Candidate needs to stay connected with the university’s Admissions Office and visit the website www.iuu.ac on a regular basis. For PhD courses, JRF qualified students will be exempted from writing the entrance test but they will need to appear for the interview. FEES The tuition fee varies from Rs 50,691 to Rs 2,47,800 annually. Fees fall under 2 categories - All India Category (60 percent seats) and Uttarakhand State Category (40 percent seats). Accommodation

IMS Unison University offers separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels have round-the-clock security and comfortable rooms. The hostel offers amenities such as television, table-tennis tables, water filters and coolers, coffee vending machines and washing machines, power backup, RO water filters, laundry service etc. Library, computer facility, lawns, play fields are easily accessible from the hostel rooms. A resident-manager takes care of the hostel administration. Vegetarian Indian, Continental, Chinese meals are available in hostel mess. Mess menu is planned and managed by the students in consultation with the caterer and management. Stringent rules and policies are at place and any misconduct is taken seriously and dealt with penalty.
