Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha was founded in 1986, since then promoting classical music and dance. The Sabha currently has 610 members. It is one of the few institutions in Bangalore which has succeeded in constructing a cultural centre of its own. The coming years should see further growth in various facets of the Sabha’s activities.

The school is offering instructions in the following disciplines:
Carnatic: vocal, veena, violin, flute, keyboard, mrudangam
Hindustani: vocal (classical and sugama sangeetha), sitar, tabla
Dance: bharatnatyam, kathak.
The course of instruction is restructured from November 2007 into:
Three year foundation course leading to a Certificate.
Five year diploma course (i.e., 2 years after the 3 year foundation or equivalent)
The Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha school of performing arts will be issuing the Certificate and Diploma after evaluation in final examination.
The school has two terms, first term will be from June 1 to November 14, and the second term is from November 15 to April 30. Admissions will close on November 30 for the term starting on November 15 and on June 15 for the term starting on June 1.
The fee will be payable on 6 month basis, November to May and June to November in lumpsum, quarterly or monthly before the 10th. Fees can be paid on quarterly basis in November, February, June and September for 3 months at a time.
