Close to 100 new recruits from prestigious universities and institutes in North India will begin their training at the company’s Noida campus from September 2016. More than 500 college graduate trainees with B. “HR is one of the key areas of focus for Infogain moving forward. Today, organisations are increasingly faced with a shortage of the required technology skills and knowledge required for successful completion of projects. The Boot Camp helps facilitate a robust learning and training process. Our company is in the midst of an exciting growth and change. We are transforming into a much larger player in the IT field, entering new geographical locations and providing innovation and value to our clients.” according to Infogain’s President – Global Delivery Organization, Eddie Chandhok.

Infogain is currently focusing on North India for hiring and some of the prestigious universities the students have been selected from are Bharati Vidyapeeth, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Panjab University, Thapar, Jamia Millia Islamia, Lal Bhadur Shastri Institute of Management, and many others. The Talent Training and Development Team will lead and manage the nine-month programme that covers both technical and behavioural aspects. The programme comprises three separate modules- foundation training, classroom training and on the job training as a part of the “Boot Camp” programme at Infogain.

Anupam Jauhari, vice president Head- HR indicates, “The programme’s goal is to empower young engineers with confidence and technical expertise as they move forward in their careers with Infogain. For newcomers, our Junior Engineers Programme is a great place to launch a career. As these young graduates embark on their Junior Programme’s journey, they infuse a fresh enthusiasm, vitality and newer thought processes throughout our organisation. With their skill set and the right attitude coupled with Infogain’s mentoring, technical training and career path, they will find themselves transformed into a seasoned professional. They become a valuable resource for us and our clients.”

Boot Camp involves three months of classroom instruction and six months of intensive on floor training at the Infogain’s Global Development Centre in Noida. Highly structured, intense and filled with assignments on technologies such as Java, .Net and any other technologies as per business need, the trainees are mentored and challenged to complete rigorous assignments and undertake tests.  After successful completion of their training, the new graduates of the programme will be deployed on projects and assigned to work in the Global Development Centres.

Graduation for this year’s programme will be in September 2016 where the trainees will be given their new assignments within the company and acknowledged and rewarded for their skills and contributions.

The programme will instill confidence, sharpen technical skills and provide international exposure among young engineers and will enable them to be better equipped to work in today’s dynamic global environment.
