Institute of Apparel Management (IAM), Gurgaon is India’s first apparel multi-varsity promoted by Apparel Export Promotion Council, sponsored by Ministry of Textile, Government of India. IAM was established in 2007 with an aim to to groom professionals for the Fashion, Textiles & Lifestyle Industry. IAM has been offering international pathways to its students to pursue their final year undergraduate and postgraduate programs in U.K., Canada & Australia. Through Indian Pathways with IGNOU, IAM offers Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes at IAM campuses, Gurgaon and Sanpada (Mumbai). For the first time in India, IAM has developed the most contemporary and sought after full time programmes and an array of modular continuous education programmes which offer every individual an opportunity to upgrade their professional skills, key competencies and knowledge by moving up in the knowledge value chain. For admission to undergraduate programmes, candidates should have obtained a secondary school education degree from a recognized board (CBSE/ICSCE/IB & other recognized boards) in any discipline. As the medium of instruction is English, a working knowledge of the language is desirable. For admission to postgraduate programmes, candidates should be graduates in any discipline with 3 years of study after completing their higher secondary school education from a recognized board. As the medium of instruction is English, a working knowledge of the language is desirable. For Bachelor’s programme candidates should have passed 10 + 2 examination from a recognized board in any discipline. For Master’s programme candidates should hold graduate degree or equivalent from any recognized university/institution in any discipline.
