Campus

Spread across a sprawling 27 acre campus, IMT is nestled amidst sylvan surroundings. IMT provides world class infrastructure supported by state of the art technology. It hosts spacious, air-conditioned classrooms with the latest audio-visual equipments, a spacious library also known as Learning Resource Centre featuring more than 31,000 volumes of books and various national and international journals. As IMT Nagpur offers fully residential programmes, it provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Recreational and sports facilities include gymnasium, basketball, tennis, volley ball, cricket, football and an open air gym.

Academics

The students are allowed to opt for specialization in six areas: Marketing, Finance, Operations, OB & HR, Business Analytics & IT, and Economics. They have an option of dual-specialization as well.

Admission

Applicants of IMT Nagpur PGDM programs must have a minimum three-year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 50 percent aggregate marks in any discipline. Applicants who are appearing for the final-year degree examination can also apply, subject to submission of all mark sheets and pass certificate to IMT Nagpur’s Academic Program office by a date to be communicated in due course.

To apply for IMT Nagpur’s 2 year PGDM program, applicants must be registered for CAT, XAT, CMAT or GMAT exam. IMT shortlists applicants on basis of best score among the above mentioned tests. Short-listed applicants are called for the Personal Interview process at the city they have selected in the Application Form as per schedule prepared for the purpose. Please note that the Personal Interview is conducted only once irrespective of choice of IMT campus.

Personal Interview (PI) Process: The candidate should be prepared to spend half a day for the PI process as it is a time taking process. The PI process attempts to evaluate in a candidate the following aspects:

Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Analytical/Problem Solving Skills
Business Affairs and General Awareness
Domain Knowledge

The final merit of the candidate is a weighted average of the following components:

CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT (best score)
Academic Scores (Xth, XIIth and graduation) and quality/reputation and ranking of graduating college/institute/university
Performance in Personal Interview process
Work experience, both in duration and quality (for working candidates)

Following weightages are given to each selection criteria:
