Established in 1995, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Chandigarh is a co-educational English medium residential school located in the heart of Chandigarh city. Admission

Admission to JNV is made through National Level Competitive Examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the children are admitted at class VI level. Children are also admitted against the vacant seats in class IX and in class XI through Regional Level Examination/marks in the previous qualifying examination. Education in Navodaya Vidyalaya is free of cost.
