Overview

Kangaroo Kids Preschool at Banjara Hills in Hyderabad is a venture of M/s M.M. Dawn Education Private Limited. It was started under the aegis of Kangaroo Kids Education Limited (KKEL), an innovative, energetic organization headed by educationist Lina Ashar. The entire program at Kangaroo Kids is designed to help children develop their skill sets, make them independent and build a sound social, emotional and academic base. The preschool has a capacity to house 375 children in the age group of 1.6 to 3.5 years. It maintains an optimum teacher student ratio of 1:6 for Playgroup, 1:8 for Nursery, 1:12 for PP1 and 1:15 for PP2.

Campus

The school hosts colorful and air-conditioned classrooms. Kangaroo Kids, Banjara Hills offers excellent facilities to enable the learning process such as audio-visual room, computer lab, library, pantry, gym, music room and child friendly washrooms. To engage the children in a variety of fun-filled activities, the preschool also provides dolls house, indoor play area, outdoor jungle gym and sand and water play area.

Academics

Kangaroo Kids, Banjara Hills curriculum caters to Playgroup, Nursery, PP1 and PP2 children. The key highlights of the school’s curriculum are: Dr. Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory: Through this approach, children learn through discussion, music, play, art and craft. Integrated theme-based learning: Interdisciplinary and theme-based approach to learning helps children to relate and retain the concepts. Linking activities with developmental milestone: Through this approach children develop their sense of responsibility, gross motor skills, fine motor skills and learning and problem solving skills. Extracurricular The preschool conducts a wide variety of fun-filled extracurricular activities such as music, dance, art & craft and storytelling, among others.

Admission

The school issues admission/registration forms in the month of December. Admissions are on first-come-first-serve basis and open to all including gifted, differently abled and self-paced learners. Forms are available at school reception as well as online.
