Kara4Kids-Penn Hub agreement

Bengaluru, November 17. Kara4Kids, a group of premium preschools and daycares in Bengaluru, signed an academic collaboration agreement with The Pennsylvania Global and Education Hub (Penn Hub), a joint initiative of Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education, a consortium of independent universities and public community colleges. This agreement for early education will equip Kara4Kids teachers with cutting-edge skills and modern tools to enhance their capabilities and modes of teaching.

“We are aware that Penn Hub offers excellent teacher training and our children will benefit immensely through this initiative,” said Prachi Mehrotra, executive director, Kara Learning, speaking on the occasion.

Mindler Scholarships Hunt

New Delhi, December 2. Mindler Education Pvt. Ltd, the well-reputed Delhi-based career guidance and mentorship company, announced the launch of its Mindler Scholarships Hunt. This pioneer initiative will enable an estimated 100,000 class XII school-leavers from over 1,000 schools in India and the Middle East to win scholarships valued at Rs.25 crore from India’s top-ranked universities.

Under this Scholarship Hunt programme, applicants will be tested for aptitude, leadership and emotional quotient, personality traits, working style etc, by Mindler and toppers will be recommended for scholarships.

Some of the private universities who have signed up with Mindler to award scholarships under their programme are O.P. Jindal Global University, NMIMS, Shoolini University, Jagran Lakecity University, Vijaybhoomi University, Shiv Nadar University, Jain University, and the Manipal Academy of Higher Education, among others.

“The objective of the Scholarship Hunt programme is to select meritorious students for award of scholarships,” says Prateek Bhargava, promoter-CEO of Mindler Education.

“This initiative of Mindler will be a tremendous boost for students and will create opportunities for over 100,000 students to continue their education. I am sure students in need of financial assistance will come forward and leverage this amazing opportunity,” said Gerry Arathoon, CEO and secretary-general of the CISCE exams boards, while inaugurating this merit scholarship programme.

JAGSOM’s LFH programme

Bengaluru, November 17. The Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSOM, hitherto IFIM Business School), a globally-ranked AACSB-accredited B-school, launched an exclusive Learn from home PGDM (LFH PGDM) programme. This AICTE approved programme is India’s first online MBA, providing over 500 hours of live faculty teaching, tutorial support and one-on-one office hours with faculty.

It also provides hands-on industry experience through industry mentor sessions, placement support and a range of professional certifications. The total fee for the programme is Rs.4 lakh with financing options starting at Rs.8,000 per month.

B4S scholarship drive

New Delhi, November 4. Buddy4Study (B4S) which bills itself as India’s largest scholarship platform and student empowerment network, has partnered with several new corporates including Tata Capital, Xiaomi, Piaggio, Vivo, and Shriram Capital to provide scholarship support to more than 10,000 school and college students in the past two months.

The platform offers new scholarships under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives of its existing and new corporate clients. The next set of scholarships are scheduled to be launched soon in partnership with Tata Capital, Acuity Knowledge Partners among others.

Fliplearn’s generous offer
