Practical exam for second PU students in Karnataka will be held from February 17 to March 25 and the theory will be held between April 16 and May 4, the department of pre-university education announced a provisional timetable on Monday. The preparatory exam for this batch of students will be held from March 14-25.
In the wake of the pandemic and closure of colleges during some days of the academic year, this year the syllabus for language subjects has been reduced by 30 per cent. Questions will be based only on the remaining 70 per cent for the April/May 2022 exams.
However, for core subjects, students will have to study the syllabus entirely. The department, however, has said that the question paper will carry more choices.
Meanwhile, for the I PU students exams will be held from March 28-April 13. Similarly, there will be a reduction in the syllabus for languages and no reduction for optional subjects.
