Overview

Established in 1972, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1 (KV N.1), Uppal, Hyderabad is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. It is an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The school aims to cater to the educational needs of children of transferable central government employees including defence and para military personnel by providing a common programme of education.

The Kendriya Vidyalaya 1, Uppal campus houses 54 classrooms and one library. Among laboratory facilities, there are three science labs, three computer labs, one junior science lab and one maths lab.
