Kendriya Vidyalaya at Andrews Ganj, New Delhi, was established in 1967 by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan which is an autonomous body under the MHRD (Ministry of Human Resource Development), Government of India.
It is a co-educational day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and offers classes in two shifts – morning and afternoon.
The school campus sprawls over 3 acres on the J. B. Tito Road in South Delhi and offers spacious classrooms, state-of-the-art science and air conditioned computer laboratories, and a computerized library featuring a huge collection of books on various subjects. There are two resource rooms and an activity room.
There is a gym and skating rink, and facilities for lawn tennis, basketball, kho-kho, football, athletics, and volleyball.
KV Andrews Ganj is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi and offers classes from class I to class X. The school uses computer-aided teaching methods and the system of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) is followed. Students are allowed to explore topics and themes by themselves.
Extracurricular:
Students are coached in sports such as cricket, football, basketball, cycling, swimming, lawn tennis, kho-kho, volleyball, skating and table tennis. They also take part in drama, singing, dancing, quizzes and debates. Students participate in camps, rallies and social service activities as part of Cubs and Bulbuls, and Scouts and Guides. Many also join the NCC.

An advertisement is issued by the Regional Office in the local newspapers in the first week of February providing the admission schedule. Admission test is not conducted for classes I to VIII. Admission is granted on priority category system.
For admission to Class IX, an admission test is conducted, and a merit list prepared for each category of priority separately.
