Overview

Sited on a 4.5 acre plot in the heart of South Delhi at Greater Kailash, KR Mangalam World School was founded by the Gee Dee Educational Society in 1980. It is a co-educational English medium day school affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). It offers education from pre-nursery to class XII and maintains a teacher-student ratio of 1:25.

Campus

The school boasts a centrally air-conditioned building hosting a computer in every classroom. Other facilities include a well-stocked library with reading room, modern science and language labs, music rooms with state-of-the-art acoustics, dance room, recording studio and audio-visual room with multimedia facilities.

Academics

The school is affiliated with CBSE and offers education from pre-nursery to class XII. The primary school curriculum focuses on activity based learning and the main subjects taught are English, Hindi, math and EVS until class II. There is no formal examination until class IV.

The school follows Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) system throughout the year. Science and Commerce streams are offered at the senior secondary level. The school has been consistently churning out toppers in the CBSE class X and class XII board exams.

Admission

Admission forms can be collected from the school office. Minimum age for admission to nursery is 3 years. For admission to class III and above it is mandatory to submit the last three years progress report along with the admission form. For classes III to IX, applicants are required to clear the admission test in English, Hindi and mathematics and a one and a half hours skill assessment programme followed by interview.
