Lady Andal Venkata Subba Rao Matriculation School, Chennai is a coeducational day school affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Matriculation board. Promoted in 1987, the school is a private institution named after the late Lady M. Andalamma Venkatasubba Rao. Lady Andal Venkata Subba Rao Matriculation School is managed by the Madras Seva Sadan, a charitable institution started by Lady Andal and her husband, the late Honorable Justice Sir M. Venkatasubba Rao.
The school follows the Montessori philosophy and provides education from preschool to class XII. It boasts a multicultural mix of 1300 students and follows the motto, "Service with a Smile".
The school campus offers a state-of-the-art auditorium, a well stocked library with a collection of over 3752 books, an in-house canteen that serves wholesome and hygienic food to the students and a medical infirmary. Students of classes IX and X follow the curriculum framed by the Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board. In class XI students are offered a choice of subjects under different groups such as Humanities, Science and Commerce.
